The Ashland Lioness Club chartered back in 1979 with 33 Members from Ashland, Hopkinton, Holliston, and Framingham. The club was sponsored by the Ashland Lions Club. On June 21, 1993, Lions International declared The Greater Ashland Lions a CLUB with 37 members with a President, Secretary, and Treasurer! It was the only ALL women’s Lions Club in the district. On July 20, 1993 the Lioness Club offi

cially disbanded after 13 years 9 months. With members joining different Lions Club in their community, 10 became Greater Ashland Lions. Charter Night was on October 22, 1993 with 43 total members being inducted. We continue making a positive impact in our community and the world. We are all Lions making a difference and "WE SERVE".
