💥 CRUNCH! Save the date: Thursday, October 22! 💥

Oregon Crunch At Once is back, and we want your school, district, community center, or ECE site to be part of it. On October 22, sites all across Oregon will bite into fresh, locally grown produce at the very same moment during National Farm to School Month.

Last year, 80 sites made over 42,000 crunches heard across the state. Let's make this year the biggest and loudest yet!

Getting started early means you can lock in the best local produce and plan an unforgettable Crunch day. Register today 👉 oregonfarmtoschool.org/crunch

Happy School Lunch Hero Day to all the humans that feed our kids and a special shout out to Brynn Richardson from David Douglas School District who has been recognized as one of 2026 Newman’s Own Foundation School Food Hero! 🍽️✨

Brynn is one of the team members in our current Farm to School Institute cohort and continually ensures that students have access to delicious and nutritious local foods. She goes the extra mile by allowing students to see their own food traditions on the menu by introducing foods like Taro Root Stir Fry and Kimchi in their Try It Tuesdays program.

Thank you Brynn for being such an integral part of Oregon’s Farm to School community and we are so excited to follow along as you progress in this space! 🍎 To view the full article, visit newmansown.org/news/school-lunch-heroes-2026
