Lots of fun today in our crockpot cooking class! Thank you, Ashland County Community Foundation for securing a donor to allow us to purchase crockpots, recipe books, and cooking utensils…. All free to attendees of the class. So very thankful !! Today’s class made Mississippi Pot Roast with potatoes and carrots…. Mmmmm Goood!!!

Oh what a wonderful surprise this was!! Moose Lodge #1383 of Ashland Ohio stepped forward with this donation today, at a much needed time….. as our budget is always strained during the summer months. Beyond blessed… Thank you, friends! Our hearts are full.

Hillsdale High School Football team !! What an awesome group of guys that volunteered their morning with us! They unstuffed two buses full of school supplies and sorted them into boxes in a matter of 30 minutes. WOW!!! Amazing work fellas! We sincerely appreciate that you give back to your community in this thoughtful way. Coach Trevor Cline is an outstanding leader on and off the football field!!! Thank you Trevor….. and again, thank you guys, for joining us year after year after year to get this job done. We can’t do what we do without friends like you…. as we are, “community helping community”. Additionally, we can’t do what we do without Ashland Walmart shoppers that stuffed these buses on Saturday and Sunday during tax-free weekend!! we are sincerely grateful to all that made this possible! GO FALCONS!! Woohoo!!!

Hats off to our friends from
D-R Services today. On a monthly basis, they volunteer with us doing various tasks…. We truly enjoy their friendship and their help. They always bring a smile to our day!!

With sincere regret, our Polk mobile pantry is cancelled for this Tuesday, the 21st, due to staff shortage. We will see you in August! However, all are welcome to visit the Polk Community Center instead. The Ashland County Hope Foundation will be there from 4pm - 7pm with fresh produce, along with other items, to assist those in need.

Woah! Once again, blessings are flowing!!! Our hearts are full of happiness today….. So grateful and thankful for community friends that support our work and help us when needed. Land O'Lakes Foundation and Centerra Co-op we appreciate this beautiful donation of a much needed, brand new, three door cooler!! WOW!

The Ashland Community Federal Credit Union (ACFCU) donated $425 to Associated Charities for those who are in need of food and financial assistance. ACFCU donated $50 from every secured, closed loan during the months of March and April. Thank you to Ashland Community Federal Credit Union for thinking of us! This year ACFCU is celebrating 75 years of People helping People in Ashland County.... thank you for helping us to help our community!

The 14th Annual Ohio Vintage Truck reunion was held at the fairgrounds this past weekend. And for those 14 years, AC staff and volunteers have benefited! As our young volunteers would say….. we grilled the best coney dogs on the planet ……. Over 400 dogs to be exact! Thank you to all that supported us and to the event organizers for inviting us to participate and for supporting us too! …. It was a great day!!
