We are thrilled to welcome Anna Barnhill as our guest speaker. Anna is a Master Certified Coach (top 1% globally), a leadership instructor at MIT Professional Education, a Forbes contributor, and the author of the new book LeaderWired: The AI-Era Leadership Playbook. She partners with Fortune 500 organizations including Google, PayPal, Cigna, and the Federal Reserve — and she calls Medford home.

It's , celebrating children's books and the importance of literacy and reading! Recent research shows children enrolled in the Imagination Library build strong early reading foundations that help words, characters, and dreams take root.📚

🌟⚔️ May the 4th Be With You, Rotary Friends! ⚔️🌟.

In honor of Star Wars Day, we're putting our actions to The Force Way Test — because whether you're a Jedi, a Rotarian, or both, the questions are pretty much the same:

✅ Is it the TRUTH... from a certain point of view?
⚖️ Is it FAIR to all beings across the galaxy?
🤝 Will it build GOODWILL and better alliances?
💛 Will it be BENEFICIAL to all... or lead us to the Dark Side?

Sounds a lot like the 4-Way Test, doesn't it? Turns out Rotary and the Jedi Order have been on the same page all along. 😄

Today we celebrate doing good in the world — one act of service at a time. Whether you're saving the galaxy or your local community, we're glad you're on the light side with us.

🌟 May is Youth Service Month, and we couldn't be prouder of the incredible young leaders in our community! 🌟

Our club is honored to sponsor two outstanding youth service organizations:

🎒 The Ashland High School Interact Club is making a real difference right here at home through their Blue Bag Program — collecting cans and bottles and turning those deposits into support for the Ashland Community Food Bank. Every bag makes a difference for our neighbors in need!

And their work doesn't stop at the city limits — they are also working to bring vision care to children in Guatemala, giving kids the gift of sight and a brighter future. 👓

🎓 We also proudly support the Rotaract Club at Southern Oregon University, where the next generation of community leaders is already stepping up and making their mark.

These young people are the heart of what Rotary is all about — service above self. We are so grateful to walk alongside them.
