Today all of us here at DR Services Inc. are beyond grateful for The Elks (Past Exalted Rulers Association of Ashland Post 1360).
Yesterday Tom Bray from The Elks came and seen us and presented us with a $1,500.00 check donation so that we can fulfill our Amazon wish list . We will now be able to purchase an assortment of games, discovery activities, fine motor activities, learning to tell time activities, different math activities, learning to read activities, brail activities & games, memory care activities, real life skills workbooks for adults, adulting 101 workbooks and so much more. This will give our staff more opportunities to work with the people we serve in broadening and enhancing their daily skills so they can be more independent and confident in their daily lives.

D-R Services is now accepting applications for (2) Part-time Direct Care Specialists. This job opportunity assists individuals with developmental disabilities with their daily goals and activities in our Day Habilitation program. No experience necessary. We offer paid training. Must have a valid drivers license, driving will be required. Must pass a BCI/FBI background check and drug test. Pay starting at $14.00 per hour, $16.00 after 90 day probation period and $18.00 after one year of service. Hours are 9 am - 2 pm.

We are accepting applications to join our Direct Care Professional team. This opportunity assists persons with developmental disabilities with their daily goals and activities. Driving will be required. Paid training. Benefits will begin after 90 days of employment. Benefits include employer paid premiums for health and life insurance and sick/vacation accrual. Must pass a BCI/FBI background check and drug test.

D-R Services is accepting applications for a Part-time Van Driver. This job will transport individuals with developmental disabilities to and from our Day Program. Split shift, morning route and afternoon route. Approximately 4 hours per day. $18.00 per hour. Must have a valid driver license and pass a BCI/FBI background check. Must be willing to take and pass a drug test. Apply at 1256 Center Street, Ashland, OH 44805, Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.

D-R Services was honored last week to be a Finalist in the Ashland Chamber of Commerce business of the year non-profit category. The evening was filled with fun, delicious food and lots of networking with other business professionals in Ashland.

This week has been so much fun celebrating Dr. Seuss's Birthday.
Today was pajama day. Today, to our surprise we got a visit from The Cat In The Hat. He brought so much excitement to all.
