Hospice of Clay County Hospice of Clay County is here as a support system at the end of life. Hospice is a special kind of care; it is end of life care.

With nursing, aide, social work and chaplain services on 24 hour call, we are available whenever our patients need us. When a physician determines a patient has a life limiting illness, and a cure is no longer an option or desired, then hospice care can assist with comfort for the patient. Hospice neither hastens death, nor prolongs life, but allows it to take a natural course. Hospice allows the

patient to maintain a sense of dignity and control within the comfort of their own home surrounded by loved ones. Hospice of Clay County is a licensed non-profit organization committed to providing quality care. Since December 1994, Hospice of Clay County has provided care to over 1000 families in their homes, in hospitals, and in nursing homes. Loving, compassionate, caring professionals assist patients and their loved ones prepare for the final days by providing comfort and support. Calling Hospice of Clay County is not about "giving up", it is about getting comfort and support.
