Our focus was affirming the importance of knowing who you are and what you want in life. I am often reminded how counterculture and oppositional to most messages from society following one's truth can be. ¡Viva la Revolución! 🤍

The beginning of some middle school masks that are going to be glued to the back of a giant mirror with student narratives on the other side and read aloud by a giant paper mâché puppet. Because that's what we do!!! :)

Greetings Southern Oregon community!

We are offering Heartisan Foundation's REFLECTIONS curriculum at Trails Outdoor School in Ashland, OR. to two consecutive groups of 6th through 8th graders. We are seeking 2 or more community volunteers to assist in the classroom. This is a great opportunity to connect with young people and create expressive art together.

Schedule:
Group 1: Grades 7-8, Tues. 9:15 am - 10:40 am, Wed. 8:40 am - 9:45 am starting Nov. 5 for six weeks

Group 2: Grades 6-7, Tues. 9:15 am - 10:40 am, Wed. 8:40 am - 9:45 am starting Dec. 3 for six weeks

Volunteers will assist in all classroom writing activities, small group break outs, and art projects under the supervision of Mr. Katz.

Please send all interested participants our way for any questions. Everyone will have to be background checked through the Ashland School District, and standard turnaround time is about two weeks. Therefore, folks should get right on that if they are considering participating.
