Happy first day of spring!

Yesterday Creat staff took advantage of the gorgeous spring weather by taking the goats on a hike up to the rock that sits above the ranch, such a good way to get to know the vast land of Willow-Witt Ranch better and connect with nature! Hope everyone is enjoying the first days of spring! 🌼🐐

Special thanks to our tour guide, Daniel Collay!

Who’s been leaving tracks on the Ranch? 🐾❄️

Join us for Winter Footprints and discover the stories written in snow and mud. Together, we’ll explore animal tracks, learn how wildlife moves through the winter landscape, and experience the quiet magic of the season!

We’ll begin at the farm to say hello to the goats before venturing into the forest to uncover the traces and trails left behind by our wild neighbors!

Bundle up, bring your curiosity, and come wander with us, we hope to see you there! 🌨️✨

Our beloved guardian dogs, Pippa and Karma, who help protect the animals, people, and land at Willow-Witt Ranch, recently faced a medical emergency after exposure to a suspected neurotoxin. Thanks to quick action, both are on the mend, but emergency vet bills have reached $15,000 and may rise!

Please consider donating to help us cover these unexpected costs and support the guardians who give so much to our Ranch community. Every gift makes a difference 💚🌱

In 2025, The CREST served 1,250 students, nearly 4% of the K–12 students in the county. Your support helps us keep these programs thriving!

We want to highlight all the Joy that our annual summer camp brings. This year’s Nature Day Camps were overflowing with adventure, laughter, and connection!

Campers:
🐐 Visited and cared for the goats
🥬 Explored the vegetable garden and tasted fresh snacks straight from the plant
🌲 Hiked through forests, meadows, and wetlands
🔍 Learned to slow down and listen to the environment around them
🎨 Created nature-inspired crafts

We were also thrilled to continue our partnership with the Friends of the Cascade–Siskiyou National Monument, who joined us for weekly field trips that allowed campers to explore other incredible landscapes across Southern Oregon. These outings helped expand campers’ sense of place and deepened their connection to the diverse ecosystems that make our valley so special!

We’re working hard toward our $25,000 end-of-year goal to continue providing hands-on outdoor learning at The CREST! Donate through the link in our bio to help us get there! 💚

This Giving Tuesday, your generosity helps create life-changing experiences for kids across the Rogue Valley!

From covering a student’s camp registration to funding an entire week of transportation, every gift opens the door for more people to explore, learn, and connect with nature!

We’ve had an incredibly full fall season at the Ranch, welcoming school groups for field trips, leading farm tours, exploring the fall fungi, harvesting in the garden, and watching students light up as they connect with nature in new ways! It’s been inspiring, energizing, and a beautiful reminder of why this work matters!

You can donate today (and everyday😊) with the link in our bio!

Thank you for helping us grow the next generation of environmental stewards and we hope to see on the Ranch sometime soon!💚🌎🌱

✨🦋 Moth Night Magic 🦋✨
What an incredible evening we had with our community! As the sun set over Willow-Witt Ranch, we gathered to explore the fascinating world of moths. Huge thanks to Ethan Robinson and Dana Ross for sharing their knowledge and contagious enthusiasm for these unique pollinators!

Throughout the night, we spotted many amazing moths up close, got creative with moth-inspired crafts, enjoyed great conversations, and experienced the peaceful magic of the Ranch after dark.

Events like this remind us of the joy that comes from slowing down, looking closely, and connecting with the natural world together. Thank you to everyone who joined us, we can’t wait to see you again at our next community event! 💚
