North Wisconsin Rod & Gun Club

North Wisconsin Rod & Gun Club Youth, veteran and senior fishing events and outdoor safety classes provided annually. Wisconsin DNR Safety Certification classes.

MISSION: Promote conservation and grow community appreciation for the Chequamegon Bay region through charitable support of outdoor sports, activities and education. Among the Club-sponsored annual events are the "Ice-O-Rama" ice fishing contest/fundraiser - held annually on the 1st weekend in March (at the clubhouse on Second Landing). "Veterans Fishing Outing" - held annually on the 2nd Thursday

in June (Chequamegon Bay / Second Landing)
"Bud Williams Boys and Girls Fishing Party" - held annually on the 1st Saturday in August (Kreher Park, Ashland).

Enbridge for financially sponsoring the event again this year. We are SO grateful for your continued support!
Hoop's Fish Market for not only donating fish for lunch, but for coming down to prep and cook the fish too! Make sure to stop and visit them next time you're in Bayfield!
Volunteer boat captains, event coordinators, and lunch cooks & workers - these events remain a success because of your time and dedication!
And most importantly, to the Veterans - thank you for your service, and for allowing us to celebrate you in this way. It was truly a great day!🇺🇸

We are so, so grateful for the support this community shows us for each and every event! If you feel moved to support the Veterans' Fishing Outing but are unable to volunteer, we are taking monetary donations at the link below. All donations to the event help provide area veterans with a care-free day on the water, new jacket or sweatshirt, and fish fry shore lunch with all the fixings!
