Our founders include professionals and experts in both social work and public policy, coming from a wide range of backgro
unds including Child welfare, Veterans services, Housing, Mental health , and public policy & research. It doesn't matter how many services there are, or how much money you throw at a problem if;
1. No one is tracking and monitoring to see what works and what doesn't
Our goal is primarily to Help get over some of those initial barriers preventing access to services and benefits. Which can involve things like obtaining ID, birth certificates and other documents or tracking down specific information. We can also help with researching what benefits and services you may qualify for, as well as help track down and fill out any necessary applications and forms. Some examples of applications we help with are SSI/SSDI, EBT, OHP, Broadband Internet Benefit, and many more. We also partner with other local non-profits, healthcare providers, and social service agencies that we can refer you to for other resources, such as Mental health services, food & housing supports, employment resources, etc. Our secondary goal is to not only utilize existing information systems such as HMIS, and advocate for their further expansion, but to also internally track our clients across all services and benefits they receive, over periods of time extending beyond their completion of a program, to better understand what works and what doesn't, and more importantly for how long. in addition to the above we are happy to help with any & all of the basic necessities & barriers that you ay be facing when trying to improve your life. From resume building and job applications, to clothing & food supports. Anything we can not help with we will do our best to find someone who can.
