This year’s Voice of Democracy and Patriot’s Pen theme is:

🇺🇸 “What A Veteran Taught Me About America” 🇺🇸

These programs provide an opportunity for students to share their voices, reflect on the impact veterans have made, and demonstrate what patriotism and service mean to them.

And don’t forget the outstanding teachers who inspire, educate, and encourage our students every day! Help us recognize deserving educators through the Teacher of the Year program.

CALLING ALL WISCONSIN WOMEN VETERANS!

Be part of representing Wisconsin’s women veterans!

The Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs (WDVA) Women Veterans Program is updating our photo library, and we’re looking for Wisconsin women veterans of all ages, backgrounds, demographics, and branches of service who would be willing to participate in a photo session.

We want our photos to reflect the diverse and inspiring women who have served our country and call Wisconsin home.

Photos may be featured on:
• WDVA Women Veterans website
• Social media
• Outreach and promotional materials
• Women Veterans programs and events
