OLLI at SOU is a member-driven educational community established for individuals 50 or better to foster intellectual curiosity and continuous learning.

OLLI at SOU offers older adults opportunities for continued learning, social and cultural enrichment. OLLI at SOU’s vibrant volunteer culture springs from a sense of belonging and shared commitment, expressed in members’ involvement in every aspect of OLLI operations and programming. Whether it's telling your friends about OLLI, teaching or hosting a class, coordinating an event, raising funds, wo

rking in the office, serving on the Council, or any one of a hundred other activities suitable for every interest, ability or availability, members make our OLLI at SOU outstanding.

OLLI at SOU members are eager for fresh ideas this winter. Winter Term runs Jan. 4–March 12 and is a great time to offer an online or in-person course. Our members always request courses in foreign languages (French, German, and Spanish), movement, science and hands-on art. Bring your knowledge and passion to the OLLI at SOU community!

OLLI at SOU is now accepting Course Proposals for Winter 2027. Instructors have the entire month of August to submit! Visit sou.edu/olli/get-involved/teach for a link to the course proposal form!

While our members frequently request courses in hands-on art, literature, science and history, OLLI students are eager to explore nearly every topic. Winter term dates: Jan. 4-March 12, 2027.

The Fall 2026 Catalog (PDF) is now available to view online! Visit olli.sou.edu/offerings/courses to preview the courses, programs, activities and events coming up this fall.

Look for our fall catalog in your mailbox the first week of August! Copies will also available the second week of August at locations across the Rogue Valley, including JCLS library branches, Ashland and Medford Senior Centers, and Talent Maker City!

The OLLI at SOU office is closed July 6-10 for Summer Break. Office staff will be periodically checking voicemails and emails. We will resume summer office hours (Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.) on Monday, July 13.
