Attending the Trades Women Build Nations Conference was one of the most inspiring, emotional, and educational experiences I’ve had in long time.

Watching over 5,000 Women march down the streets of Houston in a show of solidarity and strength with so much pride and genuine appreciation in being members of their International Union was like nothing I’ve ever witnessed.

Hearing their life changing testimonies and stories was very moving.

The Building Trades need more Women and if your Local currently has female members, I would encourage you to send them to next year’s Conference and to join them. It’s something you’ll be glad you did, money well spent, and an experience they will forever remember and cherish.

So many opportunities to turn construction investments into lifelong careers.
Hold them accountable, to build responsibly, but moratoriums are not the answer.

Data center development should create good jobs, strengthen local communities, and invest in the skilled workforce building America’s future.

That’s why NABTU supports responsible data center development, including strong labor standards, local hiring, and Registered Apprenticeships.

Those priorities were echoed in a recent letter led by Rep. Chris Deluzio and 110 of his colleagues.

We had a great time hanging out, sharing work stories and talking.
