Have you said to yourself, "Self. Downtown Ashland is so amazing! I wish I could be here all the time!"

Well good news, you can; the grooviest of downtown apartment spaces has just opened up, and if you would like to live the vibe that is downtown Ashland, 24/7, this is your opportunity!

This space has character up the w***o (that molding! Those ceilings! Those floors! Squee!), and is located right on Main Street, so our incredible shops and restaurants are just steps away, and you can watch the Christmas Parade from the warmth of your own living room. The spaces is 1,050 ft², on the 2nd floor, with two bedrooms and one bath. It was completely renovated in 2021 to 21st century needs (granite countertops! A stackable washer/dryer! Wi-Fi!), with 19th century character (are you seeing that original brick?!) All this and more, and it is available now!

Rent is $1,350/mo. The only utility the tenant is responsible for is electric. A 12-month lease is preferred, employment verification is required, and 1 month's rent as your deposit prior to move-in.

The Uniontown Brewing Co fall menu, aka "The One Where They Have Chicken Pot Pie", is back!

I guess there are other yummy things on this menu, too? but since the pot pie is what I hear everyone ask about, I thought I might mention it.

(Did you know you can order them unheated, so you can buy, maybe, 20 for the weekend, take them home, and heat them up as you need one? )

Oh no (she says in mock horror). Did you miss Amazon Prime Big Deal Days?

Friends, no you didn't.

You missed markdowns on things you don't need, offers on items influencers are peddling (and getting paid to do so), and sales on stuff you already have.

What you definitely didn't get is the downtown Ashland experience, full of unique boutiques, shop owners and associates who know you and who curate items that you'll love, and local restaurants offering delicious meals that you legit can't get anywhere else.

Good news- Awesome Downtown Days are every day (and even online- check out the websites of our downtown shops, where they can hook you up 24/7)! Come down and see your friends (who are also amazing downtown business owners), enjoy an excellent meal (I KNOW Amazon can't do that), and experience this amazing downtown that you have helped us build.

Amazon doesn't love you like downtown does.

Today's outfit of the day is brought to you by our friends (and members!) at Clothes Minded Boutique!

It's fall in Ohio, which means the temperature could be anywhere between 40 and 80 degrees, and which also means we need to plan our outfits accordingly. Enter the maxi skirt, which can keep you warm at its maxi-est, and can be knotted up when the temperature rises. I have had this skirt for years- it is the perfect weight, has the perfect amount of stretch, and goes with just about everything. I am not really a maxi skirt kind of gal, so the fact that I still have this in my rotation says something!

Does Ali still have this skirt? No, she does not (have you seen how often she adds new inventory? She is a retail maven!) What Ali does still have is well-priced, comfortable clothes that you will reach for again and again, that you can wear to work or to go out. She has a great mix of trendy pieces, as well as staple items you can wear on repeat. So if you are looking through your closet and can't seem to find exactly what you want, that's a sign to get downtown and get into Clothes Minded!

We are so excited to host Ashland Young Professionals' Rise & Grind in our office next Friday, October 16th!

🌞Connect with fellow young professionals from across the Ashland area;
🌞Enjoy complimentary coffee and pastries; and
🌞Learn more about Ashland Main Street and what we do!

Whether you are an OG AYP, or you have been meaning to come to one of their events but haven't made it yet, let this be the event you attend! Having been a young professional myself (when dinosaurs roamed the earth, and we used Windows 95), the idea of getting to know other people my age who are having similar workforce experiences (both good and bad), would have been pretty amazing.

Plus, it's an opportunity to meet new people, build relationships, and discover ways to get involved in the Ashland community (don't worry, my introvert friends- it won't be too crazy).

Plus, there's refreshments. Plus, it's all free!
