The Auxiliary is pleased to announce Caleb McCollom is the recipient of the 2023 SBCFPD Auxiliary Scholarship.
Caleb is known for being a hard worker as a JR Firefighter as well being a leader among the Juniors.
Chief Jim Bullard presented his award to him.
Congratulations to Caleb! We’re excited to see where your future leads you.

Much of our district is still in the severe range and the rest in the moderate.
Please note the burning information. 🔥

While recent rains have helped reduce the percentage of Missouri in Extreme Drought or Severe Drought from 34 percent to 21 percent, the area of Missouri that is Abnormally Dry or in some stage of drought has actually INCREASED from 59 percent to 64 percent over the last week.
Before burning:
> Check for any local burn bans.
> Check weather conditions locally, including wind and humidity levels.
> Always use extreme caution and best practices.

CONGRATULATIONS to Suzannah Appleton!! She is the recipient of the 2020 SBCFPD AUXILIARY scholarship in the amount of $500. She graduated from Southern Boone County High School.

Suzannah is a volunteer fire fighter with the SBCFPD and is attending Moberly Area Community College.

Congrats!!!!!

PARKING INFO-You need to park on the North side only (towards Pizza Hut) so that we can get the fire apparatus out for emergencies.

PROCEEDS-Fifty percent will go to local HS scholarships and fifty percent to Safety Net. This is an organization that provides monetary assistance to the responders family in case a family member passes away.
