It was a fantastic evening for planting mums, generously given by our member and resident 'farmer' Tim and his wife Sue - what a lovely couple! The mums are gorgeous in four colors, all in 9” pots, and they can be all yours while helping our club's cause, programs and scholarships.

The AGC is proud of our pollinator gardens. Featured here is our Town Hall Garden and Phee tending our Memorial Park Garden.

As promised, our 2nd event is the culminating activity for Mums Days and our Event Speaker Program with Jane Raymond from UNH Extension Master Gardening Program. Jane will describe how you can plant a pollinator garden in your own backyard…… and YOU ARE INVITED!

Mums will be available for sale before the program begins. Please see the poster below for place and times. This event is a public service to our community.

First things first…. The AGC is pleased to present two fun-filled flower events. An AGC member, Tim grows his own mums right here on his farm in Ashland. You can view the different colored mums and put in an order right on our website. See the poster below. The mums are beautiful and the prices are very reasonable.

The AGC’s 3rd Pop Up Garden was at the home of our club’s secretary, Mary🌺. Beautiful grounds and flower beds that Mary tends to herself. It was the perfect ending to a sunny Saturday viewing the gardens, chatting with each other and delighting in Mary’s home baked goods, yum! Thank you!

Chris is truly in her element and delights in giving tours of her extensive day lily raised beds. To my amazement she remembers all the names of the “named daylilies” and had hybridized many herself.

Pop Up Gardens happen June, July and August.
Members invite other club members to visit for the purpose of sharing what we planted and what we hope to plant, sharing the joy after our hard work.

Our June AGC meeting on Monday night featured a 'Fun Night' session, where Charlotte and Joan hosted a Pressed Flower Workshop, enabling attendees to design artistic creations using flowers and leaves that had been pressed in advance by Charlotte.

The town's flower beds were beautifully decorated by the Ashland Garden Club ladies on what felt like a summer evening. Plants and mulch were used to enhance Memorial Park Circle, The Monument, Town Hall Garden, Flag Island, and the Horse Trough. The event featured refreshments and camaraderie, resulting in a job well done.
