News from Yreka, CA -- Annie Kramer says,

Just wanted to let you all know about a dance coming up this Friday in Yreka. We will have a special caller, Stacy Rose, coming from the Southern Oregon coast, and live music by a local band, the "Highly Paid Professionals." The dance is this Friday, September 4th, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Greenhorn Grange (on Ranch Lane in Yreka, just before the lower entrance to Greenhorn Park). This is the Greenhorn Grange's first contra dance, we're hoping to make it successful enough that they will want to keep hosting dances there.

Another chance to dance!
Cori at www.upanddancing.com will be teaching a folk waltz class for three weeks (June 30th,July 7th and 14th) starting at 6:30. If you’ve ever wondered what people are doing during the break at our dances and wanted to learn how here’s a great opportunity!
