Local entrepreneurs are invited to pitch their next big idea for a chance to win cash prizes!

On May 7th, 2026, the Center Street Pitch Competition will award prizes to standout businesses in the Center of the Universe, Hanover County, and Agriculture & Forestry categories. The competition will take place from 6pm – 8pm at The Ashland Theatre.

Center Street Pitch Competition is hosted by partners DEIC and Downtown Ashland Association to encourage entrepreneurship in our local community. At our December meeting, we had the pleasure of recognizing a longtime friend, valued partner, and cheerleader of Market Ashland Partnership, Nora Amos! While we will certainly miss her, we are thrilled to celebrate her next chapter in Goochland and know she leaves a lasting impact—and a piece of her heart—here in Ashland.
