Empowering Neighbors

Empowering Neighbors Building a bigger front porch. Going forward, we will invite each participant to join our group.

In 2022, a group of volunteers from Shiloh Baptist Church and First Baptist Church of Ashland, Virginia established Empowering Neighbors as a 501c3 nonprofit organization. In February 2023, we will start providing free tax preparation services under partnership with United Way of Greater Richmond and Petersburg. We hope to build networks of neighbors with common interests, and to support their efforts to uplift one another.
