l-A at Virginia Center Marketplace introduced Operation Cow Drop to Hanover area non-profit groups. This year with the cooperation of one area non-profit group, Operation Cow Drop will be reintroduced to Hanover Airport with a sponsorship host by Chick-fil-A. About Operation Cow Drop
Two local area Chick-fil-A restaurants (Virginia Center Marketplace and Center of the Universe-Ashland) have joined together to introduce Operation Cow Drop 2023. The Hanover County Airport has graciously offered to host the event once again at their new location off of Sliding Hill Road in Hanover, VA. The event will take place on Saturday, May 13th from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm. All proceeds from this event will benefit Grace Christian School and the work of their capital campaign fund. Guests will be treated to a variety of experiences throughout the day, including:
Family friendly entertainment on the main stage
Carnival Area
Kid’s Zone
Video Games Game Truck
Archery Area by Green Top
Horse petting area
Face Painting and balloon artist
Airplane rides
Live Music
Raffle with tons of awesome prizes
Patrick Buick GMC experience area
Food Court area
VIP Tent area
And much more….. This event is free to the public and there is no entry charge. Some experiences and activities will have a charge. Chick-fil-A and other food vendors will be there selling food. Be one the first 1,500 guests through the gate to receive a FREE Chick-fil-A Sandwich coupon! What is the Cow Drop? An airplane or helicopter will drop 1,500 parachuting Chick-fil-A Mini Plush Cows onto a huge bullseye target. It’s an experience you don’t want to miss seeing! The Cow Drop will take place at 1:30pm. Twenty lucky guests will win a surprise Chick-fil-A gift package from the Cow Drop!
