PATRICK HENRY ANNOUNCES
2026 HALL OF FAME HONOREES
The Patrick Henry High School Athletic Hall of Fame has recently announced 8 Inductees for the Class of 2026, and they will be honored with a banquet and ceremony in September.
The PHHS Athletic HOF was established in 2023. The Class of 2026 is its fourth class, and The Hall currently has 32 members. This year’s Honorees include:
• Ralph Johnson - Class of 1964 (Football, Basketball, Baseball & Track)
• Emmanuel Holman - Class of 1987 (Football)
• Ali Abri - Class of 1998 (Wrestling)
• Marshall Hubbard - Class of 2000 (Baseball)
• Taylor Huber Helland - Class of 2011 (Basketball)
• Ted Schubert - Class of 2016 (Swimming)
• Harold Henry - Coach (Football & Baseball)
• Michael Townsend – Coach (Volleyball)
The Class of 2026 Honorees will be formally inducted at a Banquet on Thursday, September 17th at the Hanover Golf Club starting at 6p. Attendance will be limited and tickets can be purchased through a dedicated ticketing site (www. encoreticketing.com/30109/) beginning May 1st. These Inductees will also be recognized the following night on Friday, September 18th at 7p at halftime of the football game at PHHS with Mechanicsville. This will be the 68th meeting (The Tomato Bowl) between these two Hanover County heated rivals.
The PHHS Athletic HOF is a nonprofit/charitable organization and its primary fundraising activity is a Golf Tournament held in conjunction with the Patriot Athletics Boosters at the Hanover Golf Club. The event this year will be held on Friday, September 11th from 1-6p, and participant, as well as sponsor opportunities, will be available in the coming months.
