This collection focuses on one of the newest additions to Art 4 Aid, our tattoo competition. It was incredibly rewarding to see so many talented artists recognized for the countless hours, dedication, and passion they pour into their craft. Tattooing is an art form that demands skill, patience, and lifelong learning, and it was an honor to celebrate that work alongside our fundraising mission.

These photos beautifully capture the excitement, anticipation, and pride that filled the room throughout the competition and awards ceremony.

A special thank you to Shane Day for documenting these moments so beautifully. His photography captured the energy and spirit of the day in a way that allows us to relive it all over again.

Until next year, thank you for being part of something so special. Stay tuned for updates because Art 4 Aid continues to grow, and we have lots of exciting new things on the horizon as we work to expand our mission and help even more people in our community.

Some photographs do more than capture a moment. They preserve a feeling.

Looking through these incredible images takes us right back to the heart of Art 4 Aid. The laughter, the art, the generosity, the hard work, and the overwhelming support from our community are all reflected in these photos.

A special thank you to Shane Day for his beautiful work behind the camera. He captured the spirit of the event perfectly and gave us memories we’ll cherish for years to come.

We are so grateful to everyone who attended, volunteered, tattooed, donated, sponsored, and supported this mission. These photos are a reminder of what can happen when a community comes together to help others.

$16,470.38.

We have stared at that number all day and it still doesn’t feel real.

There were moments throughout this event when we were so overwhelmed by the kindness, generosity, and love surrounding us that we had to stop what we were doing and simply cry. Not from stress. Not from exhaustion. But from the realization that we are fortunate enough to be part of a community that shows up for people in such a powerful way.

Today, we are exhausted. The kind of exhausted that settles into your bones. This event took all of Friday evening, all day Saturday, until nearly 3:00 in the morning, and a good part of today to finish breaking down and putting everything away. Our feet hurt, our backs hurt, and many of us are running on very little sleep.

And yet, we would do it all again in a heartbeat.

Because what we witnessed this weekend was something truly beautiful.

Art 4 Aid has never just been about tattoos, or fundraising. It has always been about people. It is about neighbors helping neighbors. It is about strangers becoming friends. It is about artists, volunteers, businesses, sponsors, and community members coming together and proving that compassion is still alive and well.

A big thank you to each of our sponsors this year, that helped make this event possible and comfortable for our artists and volunteers. To our volunteers, thank you for giving your hearts, your time, and your energy. To our board members, thank you for carrying this mission with us all year long. To our incredible artists, thank you for donating your talent and your entire day to help others. To our judges, thank you for staying late into the night and giving every artist the time and respect they deserved. We are so grateful for each and every one of you, and without you we are nothing.

A special thank you to the Boyd County Economic Development team and the Boyd Convention & Arts Center for once again opening their doors to us, donating the space, and providing a team that always makes us feel supported and welcomed. Your belief in this event has helped it grow into something truly special.

Today reminded us that kindness is contagious. That generosity still exists. That when people come together with a common purpose, incredible things can happen.

We are humbled beyond words. We are proud beyond measure. Most of all, we are grateful.

Grateful for every ticket purchased, every tattoo done, every donation made, every booth set up, every hour volunteered, every sponsor, every vendor, every share, every encouraging word, and every person who chose to be part of something bigger than themselves.

What we witnessed this weekend was more than a fundraiser. It was a beautiful reminder of what a community can accomplish when it leads with love.

And this is only the beginning.

As we continue to grow and expand our mission, we know now more than ever that there are people who need help. Families who need support. Artists who need opportunities. Communities that need connection. This weekend showed us that when a need exists, this community answers the call.

So we are going to answer that call too.

Bigger things are coming. Bigger dreams. Bigger impact. More ways to serve. More ways to give back. More opportunities to make a difference.

Because if this weekend taught us anything, it is that there is no limit to what can happen when people come together with love in their hearts and a willingness to help one another.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for believing in this mission and in one another.

We will never forget this weekend, and we cannot wait to show you what comes next. ❤️

Shoutout to:

Art 4 Aid 2026 is in the books! $16,470 raised that will go help so many. Nearly $50,000 since the event began. After more than 17 hours of work by tattoo artists and volunteers, we are exhausted, but thankful.

Art saves lives.

It’s impossible to put into words how grateful we are for the people who make Art 4 Aid possible.

We wish we could individually tag every single volunteer, board member, supporter, sponsor, artist, vendor, and friend because it isn’t even event day yet, and you’ve already done so much. Whether you’ve shared our posts, helped spread the word, connected us with potential sponsors, handed out flyers, volunteered your time, or simply encouraged others to support the event, you’ve helped make this year’s Art 4 Aid what it is.

We also want to give a special thank you to the tattoo artists. Taking a Saturday to tattoo all day and donate 100% of your proceeds is no small thing. You are giving up your time, your talent, and your income to help others, and that speaks volumes about the kind of people you are. We are incredibly proud to have such generous artists standing behind this mission.

A huge thank you also goes out to our judges. Judging is one of the most important jobs of the event, and we’re honored that such talented artists have agreed to lend their expertise. Some of our judges are traveling from hours away, including out-of-state, simply to help make sure the competition is fair and professionally judged. We don’t take that commitment lightly, and we are incredibly grateful for the time and effort they’re investing in this event.

What started as a simple idea to help our community has grown into something much bigger than we ever imagined. Every year, we’re reminded that this event is built by people who genuinely care about helping others.

Art 4 Aid has never been about one person. It’s about a community coming together and proving that art can make a real difference. Every share, every conversation, every volunteer hour, every sponsorship, and every act of support helps us reach more people and further our mission.

To our volunteers, thank you for giving your time, talent, and heart. To our sponsors, artists, vendors, judges, and supporters, thank you for believing in what we’re building. We see you, we appreciate you, and we couldn’t do this without you.

Tomorrow we get to watch months of hard work come to life. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for helping make Art 4 Aid possible. ❤️🎨✨

See you tomorrow at the Boyd County Convention Center. Doors open at 10 AM. Let’s make this the biggest Art 4 Aid yet. ❤️
