💡 Investing in the Next Generation of Ohio's Workforce!

We had a fantastic meeting yesterday with Tara Haley, Job Development Services Manager for Jobs for Ohio’s Graduates (JOG).

Since 1987, JOG has been doing incredible, life-changing work right here in our communities. They serve youth and young adults (ages 14-24) who face multiple barriers to success, providing them with a "one-stop success shop." Through mentorship, career coaching, and leadership development, JOG helps these students stay on track to graduate high school and transition into meaningful employment or post-secondary training.

In fact, their program boast an incredible 93% high school graduation rate for in-school youth—well exceeding national standards!

Thank you, Tara, for sharing how JOG is actively removing barriers and helping the next generation take charge of their futures. We are proud to partner with local employers and organizations making a difference.

Happy Star Wars Day – May the 4th Be With You! ✨

In a galaxy not so far away… even the most powerful leaders need a guide to doing the right thing.

So today, here's a Rotary twist with a little bit of some Jedi mind trick influence:

⚡ The Force Way Test

Of the things we think, say or do…or do not...there is no try!

🔹 Is it the truth… from a certain point of view?
🔹 Is it fair to all beings across the galaxy?
🔹 Will it build goodwill and better alliances?
🔹 Will it be beneficial to all… or lead us to the dark side?

Because whether you're a Jedi, a Sith, or just trying to get through a Monday…
doing good, being fair, and making a positive difference never goes out of style.

May the Force for Good guide your actions today and every day.

✨ Ashland is looking a little brighter today! ✨

A huge thank you to the nearly 100 volunteers who braved a misty spring morning for our annual "Make Ashland Sparkle" event! 🌧️🌷

While this video captures just a glimpse of the incredible work done across the city, we wanted to give a special shout-out to the crew at Freer Field. They spent the morning putting down fresh mulch to keep one of our favorite community spots looking its best.

Beyond the mulch, teams were out in force all over town picking up litter and refreshing our shared spaces. 🗑️💪

To everyone who stepped up, rolled up their sleeves, and showed our community some love: The Rotary Club of Ashland thanks you! We are so proud of what we can accomplish when we work together.

An incredible morning with an incredible group of local volunteers... To make Ashland sparkle

A Historic Moment: The Rotary Club of
Ashland Welcomes Largest Class of New Members!
There are moments in the history of every service organization that stand out as
turning points—milestones that signal a renewed sense of purpose and a surge of
community spirit. This month, the Rotary Club of Ashland reached one of those
historic peaks.
In what is being celebrated as the largest single group of new members ever
inducted at one time, we are thrilled to witness a true "membership explosion." This isn't just about numbers; it is a testament to the vibrancy of our local community and the shared commitment to Service Above Self that defines our club.

History in the Making
This historic induction includes seven dedicated individuals and, in a significant step for our local outreach, two corporate memberships. This diverse influx represents a powerful expansion of our professional network and our capacity for community impact.

Welcoming these new members—brings a fresh wave of energy to our projects.
Whether it's supporting the annual fireworks, the Holiday Nut Sale for scholarships, or our ongoing park developments, having more hands
and fresh perspectives allows us to dream bigger for Ashland.
As we welcome these new faces into our committees and service projects, we are
reminded of the strength that comes from growth. Each new member brings a
unique set of skills and a heart for service that will help us continue our legacy of
making a tangible difference in the lives of our neighbors.
To our newest members: Welcome to the Rotary family. Your presence here is
history-making, and we cannot wait to see the incredible things we will accomplish
together.
