Founded in 2009, the Ashland Lightsaber League provides an environment in which the local community can engage in a competitive combat sport using duel quality LED stunt sabers. Members can choose to participate in the areas of performance combat art where members learn forms and fighting styles inspired by lightsaber duels from Lucasfilm’s original Star Wars films, the free form combat sport wher
e members compete in team based objective games such as Capture the Flag, or be involved in both. ALL also provides organizational support and professional services to community and charity events in the tristate area through donation collection, charity fundraising, and public performances.
