Calling all parade participants!

Ashland’s 4th of July Parade is getting ready to celebrate in a big way as we honor America’s 250th Birthday!

Whether you are part of a local business, organization, church, club, team, family, or community group, we would love to have you join the parade and help make this celebration one to remember.

Decorate a float, bring a vehicle, walk with your group, show your patriotic spirit, and be part of this special Ashland tradition.

Small projects can make a big impact!

Ashland FFA recently partnered with Mavericks Pizza owner Chey Deckto clean up and landscape the downtown flagpole in Ashland, bringing fresh life to a meaningful community space.

This transformation is a great reminder of what happens when local students, businesses, and community members come together with one shared goal: making Ashland better.

Thank you to Ashland FFA and Chey Deck for investing time, energy, and care into our downtown. It’s efforts like these that help make Ashland a place we can all be proud to call home.

The Ashland Betterment Coalition is hosting Ashland’s 4th of July Parade as we celebrate America’s 250th birthday. We’d love to have local families, businesses, organizations, churches, clubs, tractors, classic vehicles, floats, and community groups join the parade.

We can’t wait to see you Saturday, July 4th at 9am!

Did you know?

ABC is partnering with the City of Ashland, Missouri to improve lighting throughout the community.

Together, we’re working to identify and fix non-functioning or poorly lit areas to make Ashland safer and more welcoming for everyone - and you can help!

If you notice a streetlight that’s out or an area that could use better lighting, you can submit the location for review here: https://forms.gle/wdpk44DCrWiJnfRDA

This will improves safety for both pedestrians and drivers while increasing visibility across neighborhoods and businesses. It also helps the city respond more quickly to real community needs.

A brighter Ashland starts with the people who live and work here.

You’re invited to join the Ashland Betterment Coalition for our next meeting on Wednesday, May 6 at 5:30PM in the City Hall Community Room.

We’ve got a lot to cover and we want you in the room for it.

We’ll be recapping last month’s trivia night, which turned out to be a huge success and a genuinely fun night for the community. If you came, we want your feedback. If you didn’t, come see what you missed and help shape the next one.

We’ll also be diving into plans for the upcoming Fourth of July Parade and Ignite the Sky event, so if you’re interested in being part of those efforts, now’s the time to get involved.

Plus, we’ll share more about how your business can sponsor a flower box and be part of beautifying Ashland, along with updates on our partnership with the City to improve lighting throughout the community.
