The William G. & Ruth T. Evans Endowed Nursing Scholarship and the Colton Allen Memorial Scholarship provide financial assistance to qualified students who are pursuing registered nursing degrees from Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU)'s Ashland Campus (at Southern Oregon University) or Rogue Community College and intend to work as nurses in the Rogue Valley.

Since 2002, ACHF has awarded $1.8 million in scholarships for nursing students.

ACHF Board Member Liz Murphy honored her late father, Richard "Dickie" Murphy, with a donation to the Dave Kitchell Endowment of ACHF to help purchase 30 new basketballs for Ashland Public Schools .

Dick was a member of the Original New York Knicks in 1943. Liz and her grandchildren celebrated the arrival of the new basketballs with Ashland PE Teachers, Angela Johnson and Jim Hagemann, earlier this week.
