Hi ladies,

As we enter the Christmas season, I just want to share a reminder that this time of year can bring both joy and heaviness. For some, it’s a season of celebration—and for others, it can stir up stress, loneliness, or heartache, especially when our firefighters are on shift or away from home.

In all of it, I pray we remember the true source of our peace. Jesus sees every one of us—our worries, our hopes, our tired moments, and our quiet prayers. And He reminds us that we don’t have to carry any of it alone.

Let’s be His hands and feet to one another this season: offering grace, comfort, encouragement, and love. If someone is struggling, may we lift them up. If someone is blessed, may we celebrate with them. And in every moment, may we be a sisterhood rooted in faith, compassion, and strength.

May God surround each of you with His peace and presence this Christmas. You’re loved, you’re supported, and you’re never alone. ❤️

Melinda Carson,
TFA Auxiliary President

Dear Ladies Auxiliary Members,

I am truly honored and grateful for the opportunity to serve as your President for the 2025-2026 term. Leading this great organization is both a privilege and a responsibility that I take seriously. I know I have some big shoes to fill, many amazing ladies have sat in this seat before me, but I'm ready for the task, and I promise I will not disappoint you.

We are all in this together, and with teamwork, respect, and kindness, there's nothing we can't accomplish. As we move forward, I'd like us to focus on a few key things that keep our Auxiliary strong.

Respect and Kindness.
Let's continue to treat one another with understanding and appreciation. We are one family, and it's important that we always lift each other up.

Membership
Our members are the bloodline of this organization. Without active, engaged members, we cannot grow or thrive. Let us all work together to recruit and encourage others to join us.

Fundraising
Fundraising is vital to support our events and activities each year. Your participation and your commitment makes all the difference in helping us reach our goals.

Zoom Meeting
Please make every effort to attend our scheduled Zoom meetings. These meetings are important for sharing updates, handling business, and staying connected with one another.

Community
I would love to see us continue the efforts that Past President Anita Price accomplished with her food drive. If anyone has an idea how you would like to make a difference in our community, please share them.

If you ever need me, please don't hesitate to reach out. I'm here for you, and I ask that you be here for me, too. This isn't about me, it's about us, the Tennessee Firemen’s Ladies Auxiliary.

Thank you again for your trust and confidence. Together, we will make this another great year.

Melinda Carson
President

Message from Tennessee Firemen's Association Ladies Auxiliary Past President Anita Price:

I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to each of you, for your support throughout this past year. Serving as your President has truly been one of the greatest honors of my life. Together, we shared a year filled with hard work, laughter, friendship and purpose. I can honestly say it was one of the best years ever.

This experience has helped me grow in so many ways, both personally and professionally. I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to TFA Past President Chief Lynn Price, for standing by me from the very first day to the last. Chief, your leadership, encouragement and steady guidance meant the world to me. Even while leading a successful conference that everyone enjoyed, you still found time to support and lift others. That’s true leadership, and I will always be grateful.

As I step into the role of Past President, I encourage all of us to give our full support to our new President, Melinda Carson, as she leads us into 2025-2026. I have full confidence that under her leadership, the Ladies Auxiliary will continue to grow and thrive.

Thank you again for the opportunity to serve and for making this journey such a memorable one. I will always cherish the friendship and the sisterhood we share within this great organization, Tennessee Firemen’s Ladies Auxiliary.

With sincere appreciation and love,

Anita Price
Past President
