Participate in the Ride of Silence this evening, in either Asheville or Hendersonville.

The International Ride of Silence is a bike ride to commemorate those who have been injured or killed while riding a bicycle in our public right-of-way.

Both rides will gather at 6:30pm and depart at 7pm. This is a somber yet important event, ridden in silence.

Asheville's ride this year is dedicated to the memory of Alex Rozos, who was killed while riding on Swannanoa River Road on July 18, 2024. Find the ride details here: https://www.facebook.com/events/522405490913195/

Happy National Bike to Work Day! We bikepooled to the office here at the Land of Sky Regional Council. And now we're excited to kick off our Strive Not to Drive events! There's two options to participate today:

1. Roll Outta Work in Asheville gathers at Pritchard Park at 5pm, and the ride begins at 5:30, ending at Burial Brewing! https://www.facebook.com/events/699982639361425

This Friday is National Bike to Work Day! It's also the first day of Strive Not to Drive Week, which is kicking off with our Roll Outta Work event! Meet at Pritchard Park (76 Patton Ave) at 5pm, roll out at 5:30 for a chill ride with a snack station provided by McAdams. The ride ends at Burial Brewing on the South Slope (40 Collier Ave). Come make bicycle friends with us!
