Working with the plants is healing, fulfilling, and always an adventure. Local fiber artist, Melanie Wilder, will be at Pack Library to show us the process of making natural plant-based pigments. This event will combine demonstrations with hands-on experience. Each participant will have the opportunity to learn about plant-based pigments and experiment with different plants and colors. Each participant will go home with a jar of almost-ready pigment to filter and bake at their house.
