Party With a Purpose
It started as an idea to "party with a purpose" in 1999. 20 years later, the Asheville Affiliates is a community network of over 3,000 members who've raised more than $500,000 for local nonprofits. Many iconic annual fundraisers actually started as Asheville Affiliates parties.
Each year, the Asheville Affiliates selects three to four non-profits and hosts a fundraising party for each one, with volunteer board members assisting with planning, budgeting, venue selection, sponsorship, and marketing.
