Crossfire Friday August 28, 2026
Dear Friends,
Our beloved sister, Karen now sees Jesus, face to face in all of His glory. She completed her earthly mission last night and her pilgrim days on earth ended– Karen’s hope came to fruition, her faith is now by sight, and her prayers to our great God are now praises unto Him as she resides in the presence of the Lord awaiting her promised and pending bodily resurrection.
We want to thank you for every moment you spent in prayer for her needs during this difficult challenge she had to endure. She went through it all with much grace, never a complaint, and a spirit of gratitude for all God had done for her. In the midst of immense pain and suffering, she faithfully lifted praise to our Heavenly Father.
Our hearts rejoice that Karen’s joy is complete but our hearts are also broken far beyond what words can ever express.
We would appreciate your continued prayers as we navigate our lives without our sweet Karen.
Her departure for Heaven leaves an unfillable hole in our hearts and lives and we will depend upon the faithfulness of God and the prayers of others.
Arrangements for Karen’s service will be posted later on the website for Groce Funeral Home in Asheville.
Per her request, we will have only a graveside service open to all who wish to attend.
