On Saturday, May 9th, 2026 - our Reynolds FD along with 3 other FD’s conducted a “Training Burn” on a house on Rose Hill Dr.

I used my drone to capture tons of the action and managed to edit the footage into a 10-minute video for viewers. The exercise was a great success - everyone did a GREAT job.

This is the kitchen area at Reynolds FD. The remodeling project has been "in the plans" for years. As you can see, on 9/30/25, those are the BEFORE PHOTOS. Construction began on 10/6/25.
I stopped by on 10/13/25 and you will see the STATUS as it stands.
Reynolds FD Auxiliary has worked hard with successful fundraisers in addition to a few generous private donations.
The Auxiliary members deserve a lot of credit. But I'd also like to give a lot of PRAISE to our Event Coordinator, Marie Haddock. She is a PRO at finding and signing up VENDORS for our fundraisers. Linda Huntley is a "natural" for obtaining food and other items from businesses for our fundaraisers. You'll see Marie, Linda, Amy, and others at the FD days ahead of the events getting the equipment and room ready.

Each Auxiliary member is so valuable to our department, and yes indeed it does take a village.

These types of rescues are ongoing. It’s our neighbors and local first responders who are doing the majority of the rescues.

We are still having to make rescues for new incidents. Snow camp Fire Dept and out of town Paramedic. Stay home after dark.
