Urban, short-term interventions inspire public spaces bringing us closer together. OPEN is a local community forum pursuing Tactical Urbanism in Asheville, NC. Through the means of Creative Placemaking, Asheville's evolving contemporary culture can develop a more livable and connected city experience and foster sustainable community. Tactical Urbanist initiatives focus on short-term interventions to inspire permanent projects that arrive from community consensus and public engagement.

Nine more have ended veteran homelessness. It’s part of a national program called Built for Zero that uses a data-based approach to help officials figure out exactly who needs what services. Now it’s launching in 50 more cities.
