Fall Greetings from the ABWA Sky Hy Chapter!
This is the time of year when we all need to reflect, count our blessings, and find ways for community involvement. These are challenging times for everyone, but I am very glad to be a part of the ABWA organization whose charter is to sponsor leadership opportunities for women in business. I believe we are on a path to do that again in this business year.
Our fall fund raiser covers the sale of Golden Kernal Pecans. An order form and information sheet was sent to our membership. Please circulate this around. This is an low risk fund raiser, and these make really swell holiday gifts! We even ordered dark chocolate covered pecans this year to get the healthful minded chocolate lover included!
We have two business meetings remaining this calendar year at the Crowne Plaza.

Our November 2 meeting features Mindy Belz, senior editor of World Magazine. She will discuss her perspectives of career women around the world.
The December 7 meeting forum will be determined at the November 2 business meeting. The options are to have an education program speaker or have a social networking meeting with no formal program.

I am sure there will be discussion of some other events featuring fun. Be sure to come and contribute to the success of this particular meeting in the midst of the holidays!
