With the success of our Quick Tournament last night, I wanted to go ahead and announce to everyone that our monthly chess tournament will be on Saturday May 16th, 2026!

We've got multiple divisions (including scholastic) so no matter your ranking, skill, or knowledge level, we've got a place for you. We'll see you there!

Whether you plan to participate in our monthly Quick Tournament tonight, or not, we'd love to still see you over at Asheville Math to play some chess with us tonight, from 6:15p-9:00p. But just as a heads up, those not participating in the tournament will be asked to participate in quiet play to ensure the tournament environment follows USCF guidelines.

For those who DO wish to participate, registration for the Quick Tournament is still open! On site registration will be available until approximately 30 minutes before the first round, so be sure to register online if you can't make it by ~6:30p!
