Even though our Blitz Tournament is still in the forefront of our minds, we wanted to go ahead and get you prepared for our monthly quick tournament coming up on Wednesday, August 5th, just 1 week away.

We hope to see you tomorrow at our July Blitz Night AND next Wednesday at the Quick Tournament. More details about the August Classical Tournament and Blitz Night will be rolling out later this week!

In order to participate in rated tournament play, a valid USCF membership ID is required at the time of registration alongside the $5 entry fee. While online registration is recommended, in person registration will be available until 30 minutes before round 1 starts.

See y'all there!

Every single week since the 1970's Wednesday evening has been the preferred regular meeting night of the Asheville Chess Club (save for a brief stint or two over the years). We're honored to have been apart of this amazing community for so long, and are excited to invite y'all to join us at our current home base, Asheville Math on Sweeten Creek Rd. for our weekly meeting. All skill and experience levels are welcome, and it's a great opportunity to practice for those who are interested in doing our tournament next week.

See you there!
