Vaya Health is a Public Health Plan with specialty in mental health, substance abuse, intellectual/developmental disability (IDD) and traumatic brain injury needs. They provide a managed care system where they contract various services. Pharmacy and medication management services help ensure individuals receive the right medications, use them safely, and stay on track with treatment. This support can improve outcomes, reduce complications, and make care more effective over time.

Sometimes the outcome of a crisis depends on how someone is met in that moment. Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) Training helps law enforcement and first responders recognize and respond to individuals experiencing a mental health or substance use crisis, as well as individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) or traumatic brain injuries (TBI). The training focuses on slowing situations down, improving safety, and helping connect individuals to appropriate care and support.
