Special Olympics Buncombe County

What an unforgettable day filled with dinks, drops, and generosity for Special Olympics Buncombe County! Thank you to everyone who rallied with us to make our inaugural Dinking for Inclusion event a smashing success, and for your continued support of our amazing athletes.

We are deeply grateful to Ace & Eagle for generously providing their facility, and to the Asheville Pickleball Association for their dedication in ensuring the event ran smoothly. Special thanks also go to our Court Sponsors—Pisgah Paddles, Ally Bank, and Kick it Events —as well as our wonderful players and volunteers, without whom this event would not have been possible.

Please join us in celebrating our tournament winners:

- Division A: Drop it Like it’s Hot
- Division B: Double Trouble
- Division C: Ballsy Babes
- Division D: Pirates of Reems Creek

Above all, the true champions are our Special Olympics Buncombe County athletes!

It was cold, wet, and windy this morning at Oak Hollow Golf Course but that didn’t stop Alex and Silas from participating in the SONC Golf Tournament. Silas even finished in first place! 🥇⛳️
