In a new STAT article, former NCDHHS Secretaries Mandy Cohen and Kody Kinsley reflect on the impact of HOP, including findings that the program saved Medicaid an average of $164 per participant per month while helping to address barriers such as food insecurity, housing instability, and transportation.
HOP has shown what can happen when healthcare and community-based organizations work together to address the factors that shape our health beyond the doctor's office.
