Originally formed in 1926, the Asheboro/Randolph Chamber of Commerce is located in downtown Asheboro, North Carolina, and has over 825 members from throughout the Piedmont Triad. There are 30 members on the Board of Directors, eight of whom serve as officers on the Executive Committee.

As Hispanic Heritage Month comes to a close, we want to take a moment to recognize the people, cultures, traditions, and contributions that help shape our nation and our community. đź’›

Across the country, Hispanic entrepreneurs are building businesses, creating jobs, and opening doors for others. Here in Randolph County, the Latinx community is an important part of our local business community and the place we call home.

And while this month gives us a special opportunity to celebrate, recognizing and supporting one another is something worth doing all year long.

One way we can celebrate that impact is by showing some love to the businesses around us. 🤝

Puedes trabajar duro, ser bueno en lo que haces y aun así dejar pasar oportunidades simplemente porque las personas todavía no te conocen. 🤝

Y a veces, lo que necesitas no es agregar otra cosa a tu lista de pendientes. Es una conversaciĂłn con alguien que te entiende. Alguien que pueda compartir una idea, recomendarte un recurso, presentarte a otra persona o recordarte que no tienes que resolverlo todo por tu cuenta.

Ese es el corazĂłn de Alianza de Negocios de Randolph.

Creamos este espacio para reunir a dueños de negocios, profesionales, emprendedores y líderes de nuestra comunidad para conectar, aprender unos de otros, compartir recursos y construir relaciones que puedan crecer con el tiempo.

Porque crear conexiones no se trata solo de repartir tarjetas de presentación o encontrar a tu próximo cliente. Se trata de construir relaciones con personas que te conocen, saben a qué te dedicas y entienden lo que estás tratando de lograr.

Member Monday: Place of Grace NC

Place of Grace is a nonprofit low-barrier men’s shelter in downtown Asheboro serving the homeless community in and around Randolph County. Through emergency shelter, case management, and street outreach, they work every day to put the humanity back into how we care for our unsheltered neighbors.

We’re proud to recognize Place of Grace as this week’s Member Monday. If you’d like to support their work, follow them on social media to learn how.

Place of Grace es una organización sin fines de lucro ubicada en el centro de Asheboro que ofrece refugio para hombres sin hogar, con pocos requisitos para acceder a sus servicios. Atienden a personas sin hogar en el Condado de Randolph y sus alrededores. A través del refugio de emergencia, del acompañamiento individual y del trabajo directo en las calles, trabajan cada día para devolverle la humanidad a la manera en que cuidamos y apoyamos a nuestros vecinos que no tienen un lugar donde vivir.

An update to our Centennial Celebration plans.

Our Centennial Celebration has been rescheduled to January 29, 2027, when it will now be celebrated alongside our Annual Chamber Awards.

Reaching 100 years is a milestone that deserves to be celebrated with the people who make this community what it is. Bringing these celebrations together gives us the opportunity to create one special evening celebrating our history, recognizing the people and businesses making an impact today, and looking ahead to what’s next.

The Centennial Reverse Raffle will also be rescheduled for January 29, with the drawing taking place that evening.

We know many of you had October 15 on your calendar, and we appreciate your understanding as we make this change. More details about the January 29 celebration will be shared soon.

And a reminder about October 16: Our Chamber Chair Celebration IS STILL HAPPENING AS SCHEDULED, and the full agenda is now available!

Join us for a full day of connection, conversation, and community insight, including a keynote from Rachel Collins, President/CEO of Business High Point Chamber of Commerce, our State of Randolph County conversation, Randolph County agriculture fair, and Community Impact Showcase.
