A Second Chance: Amina's Journey to Safety

For security reasons, the individual's name has been changed.

When Amina arrived at the Living Hope Center, she had endured severe domestic violence and had nowhere to turn. She was physically exhausted, emotionally broken, and facing an uncertain future.

Through compassionate care, protection, and ongoing support from the Voice of Christians team, Amina was able to begin healing and rebuilding her life. During this time, UNHCR took action to protect her by blacklisting her abusive husband.

Today, we are grateful to share that Amina has safely returned to her home country, where she has been reunited with her loved ones and is beginning a new chapter.

Amina says that Voice of Christians gave her a second chance at life when she felt she had reached the edge of despair. Her story is a powerful reminder of what God's love can accomplish through faithful supporters like you.

Today, we ask you to join us in prayer for refugee families across Malaysia.

Reports indicate that an immigration operation in Klang resulted in the arrest of hundreds of refugees, including individuals with UNHCR documentation or reference numbers. As uncertainty continues to grow, many families are living with fear about what the future may hold.

Please pray that the Lord Jesus Christ would protect every refugee family, bring comfort to those who are afraid, provide for their daily needs, and fill them with His peace, strength, and hope. Pray especially for children and vulnerable families who are facing these difficult circumstances.

Thank you for standing with them in prayer. We believe God is our refuge and strength, and we trust Him to watch over those in need.

For generations, the Khana Badosh Muslim Pashtoon community lived without access to proper washroom facilities. Today, that is changing.

By God's grace and through the generosity of Voice of Christians' supporters, construction of new washrooms is now nearly complete. This marks the first time in the community's 200-year history that such a project has been undertaken.

The community has expressed deep gratitude for this act of compassion, recognizing it as a tangible demonstration of God's love. We pray that this project will not only improve daily life but also open hearts to the hope found in Jesus Christ.
