So today was Chevys exam for ELA which had to be taken in person. Keep in mind Chevy is schooled at home but with the charter school curriculum. I dropped him off for the exam this morning and waited for the call to come back and pick him up once he was finished. I got that call around 11:40 this am while in a check out line, he was done and ready for me to come get him. Once I got there he gets in the van and of course I ask him how did it go, was it difficult...etc... he said it was easy then proceeded to tell me how he thinks the kids are being fed some kind of steroids, I'm holding back a laugh as I ask him why does he say that. He tells me with the most serious face ever, everyone is as tall as a grown up, that they are literally like 2 of him in height and that the boys have like full blown beards, he is dead serious about this while he is telling me....he says "Mom, seriously there was only 1 kid shorter than me, even the girls are taller than I am" he is real bent out of shape about this, said he felt like a preschooler walking in there surrounded by giant kids 🤣🤣🤣 these are all middle school kids by the way, Chevy is 12 years old, 4 ft 9 inches and 80 some pounds....he's a little guy and I think it hit him like a ton of bricks just how small he is today walking in and seeing other kids his same age or around....he said what happened? I told him it's because we don't feed him all that processed, bioengineered food from drive thru and restaurants, he gets real food without the added hormones AND he is just a late bloomer, everyone hits that growth spurt at a different time
