VAMHCA- formerly NVLPC- are currently the only AMHCA-affiliated chapter in the Commonwealth of Virginia and have fulfilled the national organization’s requirements in the provision of data and continued education for counselors. Our members include graduate students, doctoral students, mental health professionals (LPC, LMFT, LCSW, PhD.), and others in health, wellness, private practices, and public agencies. As a non-profit organization, VAMHCA is committed to supporting mental health professionals and mental health needs across Virginia through offering advocacy, educational presentations, workshops, and networking events.
