🌸🌼 It's the day before our 12th Annual Madison Small Memorial Golf Tournament and a good time to share once again why .
💕The Madison Small Foundation was created as a nonprofit organization to help the local community, local efforts, and causes in memory of Madison Small, who is remembered for her kindness, leadership, caring nature, friendships, and outgoing personality. Madison was only 18 years old, loving her senior year at Broad Run High School, and preparing to go to Virginia Tech in the Fall when she suddenly died from meningitis in April of 2015. She was a leader in school, on the softball field, and among her friends. She was a National Honor Society member, captain, and 4-year starter for the Broad Run softball team, active in clubs and causes through Broad Run, and well-loved throughout school and the community.
💕 One of the benefactors from this tournament is the many scholarships we are able to award to our deserving and amazing young people around Loudoun County each year. Over the past eleven years we have been able to award almost $120,000 to 105 graduating seniors, thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and the success of this golf tournament.
💕In addition to the scholarships, we are also able to support many other great organizations and causes throughout the year.
✌️💕⛳️ For this year’s PEACE LOVE GOLF theme we want to focus on the simpler days of the 1970s - tie dye, flower power, bell bottoms, disco. We continue to reflect on the many special moments shared among friends, family, and our community during Madison’s life and continuing through this golf tournament. This event thrives and is a special day thanks to your unwavering love, support, and the generosity of countless individuals, businesses, and the community.
