Ghana Impact Project met with Ghana’s Ambassador to the U.S (Hajia Alima Mahama) to discuss the partnership between Government and Non Profits and how we can better serve the physically challenged in Ghana.

Wow. What a night. Thank you to all who joined us for our Inaugural gala and those who continue to support us on our journey to bring the Gift of Mobility to the physically challenged in Ghana. We raised enough money to provide prosthetics to 26 physically challenged children in Ghana. A special Thanks to:

Meet our guest speaker (Hajia Mahama), Ghana’s Ambassador to the U.S. Prior to assuming the role as Ambassador, she served as a member of parliament and Minister of Local government and rural affairs. Ambassador Mahama has always valued giving back and has championed legislation for gender equality; along with legislation geared toward abused women and victims of human trafficking.
