The Equine Disease Communication Center is monitoring an outbreak of EHM that originated at the Women’s Professional Rodeo Association (WPRA) World Finals and Elite Barrel Race event Nov 5-9. To date, officially confirmed cases have been reported in the following states-

Last night a few kids checked off their presentation and demonstration requirements. To name just a few, they taught us how to clean a hoof, how to harness up for a cart, vet kit recommendations, and how to make homemade horse treats.

Last night the kids all had hands on with Calle Miller of TrailBlazer Chiropractic. She shared her passion for keeping not only Equine in alignment but also Humans, cats & dogs. Having her come and work on some of the horses while showing and explaining to each handler their animals specific needs was quite a treat. Sharing her own 4-H experience growing up really helped build that connection, furthering our love for this program and all the families, volunteers & guest speakers that make it special.

The time has come for our most talked-about fundraiser — P**p Scooping at the Prescott Parade!

🗓️ When : Saturday, July 5, 2025
⏰ Time: Meet at the staging area between 7:00–8:00 AM
📍 Where: Staging area is at Cortez and Willis (see attached map). We will have an EZ-up set up there.

What to bring:
- Wear your 4-H shirts, a hat, and sturdy walking shoes.
- Bring a wheelbarrow and shovels if you have them.
- Make sure to pack water and snacks to stay hydrated and energized.

Let’s have fun, represent our club proudly, and keep the parade route clean!

See you all bright and early next Saturday!

Another Beautiful evening with the kids and the horses on our Thursday night together at the fabulous Chino Valley Equestrian Park Arena.
Everyone learning the proper steps to the WHOA, safe distancing during rail work, showmanship patterns & a little Gymkhana fun 👍🏽 Love how they are all growing and becoming a great team with their 4 legged freind☺️ Getting excited for our next 4-H schooling show June 28th.
