π GRIZZLIES FOOTBALL & CHEER β SAFETY & RESPECT FIRST π»β€οΈπ€
As we get ready for another great day of Grizzlies Football & Cheer, we want to remind everyone what youth sports are truly about.
We are here for the KIDS.
Our players and cheerleaders are here to learn, compete, have fun, build friendships, and become better young men and women. Winning is great, but it will never be more important than providing a safe, positive, and respectful environment for every child.
We ask all parents, coaches, family members, and spectators to please:
β’ Respect all players and cheerleaders β ours and our opponents.
β’ Respect coaches, officials, volunteers, and other spectators.
β’ Keep language and behavior appropriate around our children.
β’ Cheer positively and let the coaches coach and the officials officiate.
β’ Never allow disagreements to turn into arguments, threats, or physical confrontations.
β’ Remember that our children are watching and learning from how the adults behave.
The safety of ALL players, cheerleaders, coaches, families, and spectators is our #1 priority.
No football game is worth someone getting hurt or a situation getting out of control. We want every family who attends a Grizzlies function to feel welcomed and safe and to leave knowing that we represented our program and our community with pride.
Letβs set the example we want our children to follow.
PLAY HARD β’ CHEER LOUD β’ SHOW RESPECT β’ KEEP OUR KIDS SAFE
