Two Ponds Preservation Foundation The Two Ponds Preservation Foundation's vision is to enrich lives and inspire wonder by providing an Through our partnership with the U.S.

Since 1990, the Two Ponds Preservation Foundation has been dedicated to to preserving the Two Ponds National Wildlife Refuge's wetlands and natural habitat. Our foundation's focus is to keep the refuge open for the enjoyment of the public, and for children in urban areas to study and better appreciate their natural heritage. Fish and Wildlife Service, we help oversee many activities teaching our Metro Denver youth and residents about the importance of conserving our natural resources. Our goal is to build the Schoolhouse at Two Ponds, an onsite environmental education facility that will allow year-round access to schoolchildren, Boy and Girl Scout troops, nature lovers and residents. The facility will include indoor studies, interactive displays, classroom and laboratory space and public restrooms. Two Ponds is part of the Rocky Mountain Greenway Trail, a regional trail development project designed to complete connections between the Rocky Mountain Arsenal, Two Ponds and Rocky Flats National Wildlife Refuges. The Schoolhouse will better connect Metro Denver to the National Wildlife Refuge System!
