IHB representatives recently visited Dón Diego at his home in Cortes, Honduras. He was one of the first recipients of an IHB home when we began building in Honduras 11 years ago.

He still resides in the home with his son where their lives were forever changed by receiving the gift of shelter, stability, and a place to gather as a family.

The patented insulated concrete forms used to build IHB homes have endured multiple storms and hurricanes over the past decade and remain every bit as strong as our mission to provide shelter, restore dignity, and build hope for those in greatest need.

Thank you, to our generous donors, who make these life-changing opportunities possible.

Building Clinics. Building Partnerships. Building Hope.

International Hope Builders is grateful to see our work in Honduras growing through impactful new partnerships!

IHB’s Chief Engineer, Gio Saybe, recently joined Mayor Andrés Gutiérrez of Celilac, Vice Secretary of Health Dr. José Castillo, the Governor of Santa Bárbara, and members of Rotary International to visit IHB’s newest clinic in Celilac, Santa Bárbara, now nearing completion.

After seeing IHB’s clinics and the impact of this work firsthand, Rotary International representatives expressed their commitment to help provide much needed medical equipment for future IHB clinics in Honduras. This builds on Rotary’s tremendous support at the poli-clinic IHB constructed in Santa Rita, where approximately $1.5 million in new medical equipment was installed.

President Harold Patterson commented: "For IHB, this kind of collaboration is an important step forward. By bringing together IHB’s ability to build quickly and affordably, the leadership of local mayors and health officials, and Rotary’s resources and expertise, we can help communities receive more than a finished building—we can help deliver medical facilities that are ready to serve patients from day one."

Together, we are building more than clinics. We are building healthier communities and lasting hope!

Five years ago, two devastating Category 5 hurricanes changed everything for families in El Paraíso, Copán, Honduras. In less than one week, more than 100 families lost their homes and were left with almost nothing.

Today, hope is rising!

Through God's faithfulness and the partnership between International Hope Builders and the Municipality of El Paraíso, the first 10 of 30 new homes have been completed. The first families selected include senior citizens and single mothers - those who were among the most vulnerable.

Every home represents more than walls and a roof. It represents dignity restored, prayers answered, and the love of Christ made visible to those in greatest need.

Thank you to every donor, volunteer, and partner who makes this work possible. Together, we are building hope—one home, one family, one community at a time.

IHB is delivering humanitarian construction projects beyond what any of us could have dreamed just 10 years ago when we started building in Honduras.

The secret to our success?

1. God's continuous presence in all we do.
2. Incredible partners like PegaDuro de Centro America who stand along side us through it all - providing excellent products, incredible support, and a mutual vision to improve the communities we love to serve.

There is nothing we can't do together.

I spy with my little eye . . . IHB shirts, our very own Gio Saybe - and a whole lot of hope for 10 families in need of shelter!

A note from the community of El Paraíso, Copan on this mission critical project:

"Thanks to the efforts of our mayor, the construction project for 10 homes began today, a joint initiative between the Municipality and the International Hope Builders organization.

This important project represents the beginning of a dream come true for 10 families in the urban area, providing them with hope, dignity, and a better future.

We continue to work with commitment and responsibility for the well-being of our people."
