Five years ago, two devastating Category 5 hurricanes changed everything for families in El Paraíso, Copán, Honduras. In less than one week, more than 100 families lost their homes and were left with almost nothing.

Today, hope is rising!

Through God's faithfulness and the partnership between International Hope Builders and the Municipality of El Paraíso, the first 10 of 30 new homes have been completed. The first families selected include senior citizens and single mothers - those who were among the most vulnerable.

Every home represents more than walls and a roof. It represents dignity restored, prayers answered, and the love of Christ made visible to those in greatest need.

Thank you to every donor, volunteer, and partner who makes this work possible. Together, we are building hope—one home, one family, one community at a time.

IHB is delivering humanitarian construction projects beyond what any of us could have dreamed just 10 years ago when we started building in Honduras.

The secret to our success?

1. God's continuous presence in all we do.
