We FOUND RAMBO!! Ok everyone. Here’s what happened. This morning I brought flyers in Spanish and English to the last known location of Rambo. I met our client and the drone operator in the Planet Fitness parking lot just two blocks South of the last known location. Also two volunteers arrived (please tag yourself to this since I didn’t get last names, I'm sorry. One was Carla Patti-Wise and I’d like to know the other) and started passing out flyers. The drone ran for an hour and a half and spotting a dog. We drove under the drone and saw a white dog in the yard. Wasn’t our guy. Tail was too long.

The client and I put boots on the ground at the last location and started talking to everyone in the street we passed. Colfax is very interesting this time of year. We ran into all walks of life and our client stopped a guy named Cholo. He asked if he knew where he was and Cholo looked at the flyer and immediately said “yes, my girlfriend found him on the street and brought him to her house”. We went to the place and there he was!

We told Cholo he did a great thing and there was a reward. But first we need to scan his chip to verify. We went to the nearest veterinary office and they scanned him and BINGO!!! It’s him.

We all are very relieved. The client, Rambo, me, Black Ops Rescue, and all of you. A huge thank you to everyone that shared our posts. You kept the light on. It took good old fashioned boots on the ground by two old combat vets to get it done.

Mission accomplished!!! We found Rambo!!!

Rambo Search — Day 4, we aren’t giving up!
Today we’re gathering at Planet Fitness in Aurora at noon. A drone operator will search the area for two hours.

Finding Rambo may be like finding a needle in a haystack, but we have to try everything. Thank you to everyone helping us bring him home.

If you find Rambo or know of an unhoused woman in that area named Lilly, please contact us at 720-626-3422. We don’t believe Lilly has Rambo but we think she knows where he is. She described him to a T, including collar color, coat color/length, and tail size. This is our only semi-solid lead.

RAMBO UPDATE- We have good reason to believe that Rambo is somewhere in this location. If anyone knows an unhoused woman named Lilly that hangs around this area or has any concrete leads, please call 720-626-3422 or send us a message. We don't believe she has Rambo but we think she knows where he is.

Unbelievable RAMBO UPDATE -🚨 THE SEARCH FOR RAMBO CONTINUES — NOTHING IS STOPPING THIS VETERAN! 🐾🇺🇸

As if the search for Rambo wasn't difficult enough, our veteran client was robbed at gunpoint on an RTD bus along Colfax last night. The suspect took some of his clothing, his King Soopers groceries, and other personal belongings. Police are involved and actively searching for the suspect.

Let that sink in for a moment. This veteran is already dealing with the stress of trying to find a missing dog he cares about, and now he's the victim of a violent crime. Yet he has not given up on finding Rambo.

Our client is a hardened Army combat veteran who survived the streets of Kandahar, Afghanistan. He's facing another tough situation here at home, and he's still out there fighting to bring Rambo back. As tough as Colfax can be, this veteran knows a thing or two about perseverance.

Right now, he's back at Rambo's last known location, following a promising lead. He's searching for an unhoused individual named Lilly, who reportedly described Rambo in remarkable detail — right down to the specifics. That's encouraging, and we're hopeful this lead will help us find Rambo. But until we have confirmation, we have to keep searching and keep asking questions.

This is what dedication looks like. This is what the bond between a veteran and a dog looks like. ❤️

🚨 SCAM ALERT! THE SCAMMERS ARE OUT! 🚨

Unfortunately, while we're doing everything we can to bring Rambo home safely, scammers may be trying to take advantage of our desperation and concern.

Someone has contacted us claiming to have Rambo but is demanding Xbox gift cards instead of the offered reward money. 🚩 This is a major red flag and a common scam tactic. The number is 209-288-7831 and comes back to a landline in California.

⚠️ PLEASE BE CAREFUL!

Never send gift cards, gift card codes, or money to someone claiming to have your missing pet.

Ask for current photos, specific details, or a live video call to verify they actually have the animal.

Do not meet alone or put yourself at risk.

Report suspicious messages and accounts.

We are still hopeful that Rambo will come home, and we will not let scammers distract us from finding him. ❤️🐾

🚨🐾 RAMBO SEARCH UPDATE — DAY 3! WE NEED YOU TO KEEP SHARING! 🐾🚨

We are now on DAY 3 of the search for Rambo, the little terrier mix who went missing in Aurora, Colorado, on October 14. We have a promising lead that we are actively tracking down this morning, but Rambo is still missing, and we need everyone to keep their eyes open!

Our veteran client, a disabled Army combat veteran who served our country as a First Lieutenant, is healthy enough to join the search. Yesterday, he returned to the area near Colfax and Havana and spent hours walking the neighborhood, knocking on doors, and putting up flyers. He even wore dirty clothes carrying his familiar scent, hoping Rambo might pick up the smell and find his way back to him. A human scent trap.

💔 Imagine the heartbreak of searching for your best friend and not knowing where he is. Rambo isn't just a pet to this veteran. He is family. He is companionship, comfort, and unconditional love.

This morning, we received a report from a woman who says she saw Rambo yesterday and that someone had taken him into their home to keep him safe. We are doing everything we can to follow up on this information.

🙏 We desperately hope this lead brings Rambo home. But until we have him safely back in his owner's arms, WE CANNOT STOP SEARCHING.

🚨 PLEASE KEEP SHARING THIS POST EVERYWHERE! If this lead doesn't pan out, we need as many people as possible looking for Rambo. Someone knows something. Someone may have seen him. Someone may have taken him in with the best intentions and simply doesn't know how desperately he is missed.

We made the news FOX31 KDVR.com came through! $500 reward!!! Please help Black Ops Rescue and our military veteran find Rambo!! Our veteran client had a seizure while walking Rambo and woke up and Rambo was gone. UPDATE: They were walking close to Colfax and Havana, Aurora, Colorado on Oct 14th. An Arvada-based non-profit is asking for help in the search for the lost dog of a former United States Army First Lieutenant.
