The 2026 AACE Election is now open! Eligible AACE members in good standing are encouraged to vote for First Vice President, Sergeant-at-Arms, proposed Article XI bylaw amendments, and the addition of a Code of Conduct.

⏰ Voting closes: Monday, September 28, 2026, at 11:59 PM EDT. E-votes must be submitted before the Annual Business Meeting on September 29.

📅 During the Annual Business Meeting on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, members will review association business, election results will be announced, and the 2027 AACE Board of Directors will be sworn in.

Join Eugene Alper for a session on "Building Code for Code Enforcement Officers "

Session Bio:
Code enforcement officers' engagement with the current Building Code is limited. This is because we rarely go to active construction sites. More often we investigate structures built ten, fifty, sometimes hundred years ago, so our job is to know what was legal at that time. In this class, we will discuss the four important areas in which we engage with the current Code. We will also learn how to research older construction and zoning laws so we can identify and enforce violations in pre-existing buildings.
